The Process
Initial Visit
In your initial 75-minute visit we will comprehensively discuss each of your primary health concerns, your medical history, and other indicators of health such as your sleep, stress, and diet. I will perform any required physical exams, and we will do lab work if necessary. By the end of your first visit we will co-create a treatment plan together.
Follow-Ups
The number of follow-up visits will vary. Some patients may require 1-2 return visits, some may come weekly for 6-weeks for a specific in-office protocol, while others will continue to see me on an ongoing basis for yearly check-ups. This will be dependent on your particular needs.
Telemedicine:
Appointments are also online or by phone to patients across BC. Please note that patients must be located within BC.
Primary Care Needs
Can Dr. Webb be my GP?
Naturopathic physicians are trained to do primary care. This means we can be your first point of contact for any health concerns, and will support you in whatever way we can and if needed, refer you to where you need to go to access further care. We do physical exams, blood work, and write prescriptions - similar to what a GP would do. We also do PAP exams, remove ear wax, do wart freezing, and STI testing.
Note that while NDs can run any lab work and imaging run by an ND is private pay. NDs cannot make specialist referrals. While my preference is that patients ALSO have a GP, for many people this is not an option. Often patients of mine piece together their healthcare needs via care from me, as well as through Lady Minto Hospital locally or an online walk-in clinic.
